Wash Care

Why Follow These Indication
Cotton khadi clothes are made with love, patience, and craftsmanship, making them not just garments but cultural treasures. To maintain their beauty and longevity, khadi fabrics require gentle care. It is always recommended to hand wash khadi clothes using cold or lukewarm water and a mild, natural detergent. Avoid using harsh chemicals or bleach, as they can damage the handwoven fibers and natural dyes. For the first few washes, it is best to wash khadi items separately, as they may release some excess color. Do not wring the fabric forcefully; instead, gently press out the water.
Dry the clothes in shade to protect them from color fading due to direct sunlight. When ironing, use medium heat and iron while the fabric is slightly damp for a crisp finish. Store your khadi garments in a cool, dry place, preferably wrapped in a breathable muslin cloth. With the right care, khadi clothing not only lasts long but also becomes softer and more comfortable with every wash.
